The design is an ode to the hare in the wonderful painting by Jan Weenix and to nature as such. The print on the ‘robe manteau’ reveals the hare’s life before it was killed.

The embroidery refers to the net with which these animals were hunted at the time and also symbolically stands for the detrimental effect of man on nature.

The robe manteau is for sale at a price of 2.550,00 euro. The item featured is a European size 38 (buste 92, taille 75 and hip 98 cm). Any other size can be ordered and taylor made.

It can also be borrowed for photoshoots for magazines and fashion reports.
